Objective

To monitor for Freon leaks from beer chillers on a production line.

Detail: Chiller assemblies arrive on a production line (or lines) at a testing cell. In the cell, various test are made along with a Freon gas leak test. The probe (or probes) from LeakSys are moved around the cooler assembly by the operator with a head up and probe mounted display of leak rate.

Large sounders are fitted to indicate leaks above the acceptance threshold and overcome the factory background noise.

To make LeakSys more cost effective, two probes can be fitted allowing the operators to check two assemblies at the same time. Fast switching and specialised software ensures that both assemblies indicate and alarm correctly.

Probe mounted buttons allow the user to "creep-up" on large leaks and identify the cause, where other detectors would be swamped by the high Freon levels. all of this can be achieved in the very short test period available in a production environment.
